Make your own rules in a fun and inspiring Altered Book Art Journal! In this class, Tiffany Julia combines aspects of art journals, creative journaling, and junk journals to create a personalized notebook to create and play in! Learn how to repurpose a hardcover book, assemble an assortment of papers to use, and construct your very own altered book complete with pockets and tuck-in sports. Then Tiffany shares tons of tips and prompts for creating in your new art journal with different types of paper, paints, inks, and fabric! Let your creativity run wild in your altered book art journal!

The stories your book will hold are all centered around actions, inspiring you to focus on your memories in a different way. In this workshop, we'll walk through the process of making a photo book with Mixbook, with tips on everything from choosing photos to using the Mixbook editor. Then, we'll take that photo book and turn it into a unique keepsake with simple techniques like stamping, pockets, and peek-a-boo windows.
