Creative Planner Pages | Valentine's Day, Carla de Taboada

Valentine's Day is all about love! People all around the world celebrate this holiday devoted to love, and as a planner girl, I love to set up my planner for the month of love! In this class, I'll share with you how to make cute interactive dashboards with sliding hearts, spinning hearts, little spaces for memory keeping, and some hidden spots for photos from the ones you love and adore.

Add a string art heart to your Valentine's Day scrapbook layout.

Document 2015 | February, Aly Dosdall

Using a Valentine’s Day collection is not necessary when you sit down to create your layout this month. You can select colors that complement your photos or choose to include a few classic Valentine’s Day colors if you’d like. Since I only had one photo from Valentine’s Day on my page, I used a generic collection that included some pinks and reds, and I added a few heart embellishments to give a nod to the holiday. But most of my papers, colors, and embellishments are pretty generic and were selected to complement my non-themed photos.

Give your sweetheart a gift in wrapping just as special.

Wrapped with Love, Jamie Pate

As paper crafters, I think we have this built-in knack for being givers. We are always thinking up things to make, because, well, we are makers. And makers gotta make. So, we make stuff, and we very often make stuff with others in mind. But, we don’t stop there, do we? It’s not just about giving a pretty gift but making the package just as pretty. It can be sort of our hallmark. And you know that feeling when you give something to a friend, and they ooooh and aaaaaah because of the prettiness. You know what I mean, right? I loooooove that feeling. Well, this class is all about that!

Send a heartfelt gift to your loved one.

Made with Love | Mother's Day, Maggie Massey

One of the easiest ways to freshen up a space is to change out the wall or table décor. This project allows you to do just that. Plus, it makes a darling gift! If you don't own an electronic cutting machine, no worries! You can use alphabet stickers (Thickers work wonderfully!), or you can hand-cut your letters.

Spread the love with a homemade gift bag full of treats.

Valentine DIY Party, Shellye McDaniel

I enjoy finding new ways to use inexpensive materials and get the most out of a collection kit or even a simple sheet of printables. Just about any type of sack or bag can be turned into an original work of art by adding your own style and personality to it!

Create a Valentine layout with the supplies you have on hand.

Make It Work | Winter, Patricia Roebuck

If you didn’t know this layout was about Valentine’s Day, you'd think it was just a layout about everything I love. That's more of the mood I wanted to create with this layout, and I feel like I captured that feeling.

Create your own heart-shaped work of art.

Afternoon Crafts, Paige Evans

What to do, oh, what to do if you have a spare afternoon or two? Get crafty of course! If you’re like me, you probably have a ton of projects lying around that “you’ll get to eventually.” Well, my friends, the time has come! Let’s dust off those projects awaiting repurposing and turn them into something special—all within a couple hours. These crafts are intended to be completed in a single afternoon—hence the title Afternoon Crafts! Kids napping? Have a few moments between tasks? Now's your chance. So, grab your supplies, and let’s get started!

Send a sweet card to your sweetheart.

Cards for Every Season | Winter, Lea Lawson

Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, and it’s my favorite holiday to create cards for. I absolutely love, love, love hearts, mushy sentiments, glitter, doilies… the list could go on! There is no other holiday where you can combine all these fabulous goodies into one sappy card for your favorite person (or people!) in the world.

Wood you be mine? Send this sweet gift to a special loved one!

Made with Love | Simple Gifts, Megan Hoeppner

Nothing says "heartfelt" quite like a handmade gift. In a way, it's a piece of you that you're offering to another. The time, the effort, and the love that goes into making such a gift leaves such an impression—there's no way to put a price tag on that kind of sentiment.

Fall in love with photography.

Instax Love, Stephanie Bryan

You may have guessed, from the title of this class, that I am a little obsessed with Instax photos! I remember that we had a Polaroid camera when I was a little girl and I was mesmerized every time one of those photos would appear from the camera, as if by magic. Its allure hasn't really changed for me now. If anything, it's grown! We stopped taking Polaroids, presumably because they stopped making the film for the cameras, and instant photos became a thing of the past for us. When I noticed that Fujifilm had made their own range of instant cameras a few years ago, I knew I had to get my hands on one!

Are you ready spread the love this February with these crafty projects? Don't wait—start today! Remember, as a member of Big Picture Classes, you get access to our entire library of classes. Sign up now and start exploring!
