Heb.13:5 Art Journal
I am in Turkey right now and using just the products I have on hand. I was glad to hear you say, Wilna, that you threw out your old Mod Podge. That was what I had to work with...old Mod Podge that had thickened. But no problem I just wanted to start! Unable to purchase the bundle from here I used a digital stamp by Mo Manning. The verse I wrote in Turkish (my second language). The word translated for 'never' has a quality of impossibility to it and the word translated for 'leave' has more of an 'abandon' feeling to it.

I love the embossing. I never thought about using that in my Bible journaling.
It actually is not embossing. (But good idea!) I used a stencil as Wilna suggested but I had to use gesso over it as that is the only thing available to me right now. It kind of does look like a stencil now that you mention it!
