Distress Ink Card Techniques
Christmas card
Hi Jenn, @jennshurkus
I tried your embossing / distress ink on this card using a chevron stencil and the sentiment. I have a question which you might be able to help me with. After I heat set my white embossing powder (used versamark) and blended on the distress inks, I noticed that the white became somewhat blue-ish. Is there a way to avoid this? Jeanne

this is so pretty! and i love the non-traditional colors for the holiday :)
unfortunately there is no way to avoid dyeing the white embossing powder. What i do sometimes and I should've mentioned this in the lesson is after I am done ink blending I swipe over the embossed areas with a damp, clean paper towel. Since the melted embossing powder is resisting the ink- this will help it wipe clean as well. Great question!
Thanks, Jenn. I thought that might be your answer as I see a little color on the white embossed areas of other cards on the internet.
