I Do
My husband and I were married in Oct. of 1979. Most of the pictures of our wedding did not come out so we have been without pictures for almost 40 years. Last fall, my oldest daughter found that one of her friends was working with a lot of computer graphics, etc. and she sent what we had to her friend. The friend was able to create this picture for us.
I have a lot of vintage pearl buttons and I thought they would go with the (almost) 40 year old picture. I liked the rose/light pink background for the scrapbook page and the gold accents. I was looking for something to make it pop and my husband recommended the little metallic gold hearts I glued to the center of each button. I really like how they shine in the light.
I used some distress inks to "age" white paper heart and the frame around the picture that I cut out with my Silhouette. The darker rose metallic pieces were cut with dies and the gold stickers came from various sticker books. I used some Nuvo Tonic drops in white and rose on the upper left and lower right corners. Lastly, I used watered down white acrylic paint for all the background splashes.
