This month’s project may stretch you, but it's worth the effort. If the idea of spending 20% of your scrapbooking time focused on documenting connections appeals to you, then crafting a family tree project is essential, because it'll be the foundation to support your family connections and relationships, making them understandable—especially for children. This project will visually link children to parents and grandparents and help you record vital information that's easily overlooked and often not written down.

In this month's class, you’ll create a layered layout using a variety of page and pocket protectors and a mix of current and older heritage photos. I’ll show you how to begin archiving important genealogical information online and how to use this information to create a beautiful family tree for the cover page of your "connected" story.

Imagine having a completed project you can refer to again and again as you teach children or grandchildren about their family history and share stories with them. If you haven’t yet taken one of my classes from this four-month classes, I hope you’ll start here!
