Winter Walk - Composition
So I went out to take some pictures and try to use composition techniques, but the snow glare was intense, so it was pretty hard to see what would make a good shot - I could barely see through my viewfinder!
I tried to use leading lines with the stream drawing your eye up to the blue sky, but felt my focal point wasn't defined enough. The pinecones are meant to be along the upper third gridline for the rule of thirds. The two black and white photos are for framing. Of all of them, I like the lamp post through the trees best - it's a little bit Narnia. But unfortunately, with the glare I didn't realize I had focused on the tree, not the post.
This is harder than it looks!
