Journaling Bible or Notetakers Bible This class is about using a journaling bible in a creative way. I will be using the ESV journaling bible but you are welcome to use whatever you are comfortable using. If you aren’t comfortable using these techniques in your bible, these same ideas can be used in an art journal as well.
-
Paint, brushes & colored pencils Any acrylic paint will work, plus your favorite brushes! For colored pencils I use anything from a artist grade pencil to what you will find in the kids section. What is nice about the pencils is they are not wet so you don’t need to worry about them bleeding through the pages.

A pen that will not bleed through these thin pages Find a pen that works well with your writing style. The American Crafts Precision Pens are perfect for this!
-
Flat Alphabets, Rub Ons & Embellishments Bring your favorite alphabet stickers to class! Also pull out any other flat embellishments you have on hand such as rub-ons and die-cuts.
-
Stamps and Ink Pads We have designed some fun stamps for this class, also if you have a favorite alphabet stamp that works really well with this project as well. For ink pads you are going to want a pigment based (Staz-On is my favorite) or chalk based ink pad. The dye based ink-pads are going to bleed through the pages.

And most of all - an open mind ready to try something new and exciting!!
